The aperture of the f/96 transfer optics incorporates 2 thin coronographic fingers of different widths (0.4 and 0.8 arcseconds), within the nominal f/96 field of view, which can be used to mask a bright celestial object whilst viewing a dimmer neighbour. (ESAc-G : 16)
