Code Eurodicautom : AUG
Code Lenoch : HUB95
Terme : acquisition programmée
Définition

Code grammaire : NF
Note
Ce mode ne peut pas être utilisé quand il y a une ambiguité, comme par exemple, pour l'observation de NGC 1068 qui présente des nuages de gaz assez étendus. (STOF-R)

Terme : onboard acquisition
Définition
A fully automatic basic acquisition mode, in which the image is searched to find the pixel with the largest number of counts, i.e. the center of the target, which is the basis for the subsequent small angle maneuver of the telescope . (STSIb- G : 44 (R))
Code grammaire : N
Contexte
The spectrograph requires the use of the onboard acquisition. This means that the instrument will be pointed where you indicate, but it will try to accurately locate the target using a series of measurements designed for point-source acquisitions (cf. notion 8) in OCC and SPEC modes and to be used only in conjunction with either the F/96 0.4 arcseconds or 0.8 arcseconds coronograph finger or the F/48 slit (STSIb-G : 44)2) "Onboard acquisition" is also referred to as "Mode II T.A."
