This optimal control force is the so-called target force that the damping force of each suspension system is attempting to follow. The damping force is generated by opening the control valve, changing velocity of oil due to the relative movement of the suspension. Therefore, the damping force is continuously adjusted to follow the target force by controlling the opening angle of the orifice in the valve. |a|
