CONT 1: The following considerations refer to damping force regulating systems with several characteristics. The individual characteristics are determined by the familiar method of throughflow-dependent restrictor valves. |c|

CONT 2: Without self-levelling, the static stiffness demands are unaltered and conventional stiffness would have to be employed. The other route to ride comfort improvement is to use the damping control to increase the damping around the body resonance without also increasing it at higher frequencies. |d|
