ENT AN 105
nose dive
IN ENT AN 110
E; ab
DEF AN 115
Suspension condition characterized by the compression of the front suspension caused by heavy braking. (R)|cd|
CONT AN 120
When hydraulic pressure to the front brakes exceeds 400 psi, the switch closes, returning a signal to the control module. The module will then switch the system to the firm mode to reduce the front suspension nose dive. The system will return to the plush ride mode four seconds after the brake switch opens. |b|
SYN AN 130
1- nose diving |E; e|
2- nose-down pitching |E; f|
3- dive |E; g|
: 131
CONT 1: Nose-diving and shaking during hard braking are suppressed by estimating the deceleration speed from the change speed in vehicle height, i.e. the amount of diving. In addition, the increase or decrease in engine torque is judged from the change in the ECCS fuel injection pulse width, and this information is used for pitch control during acceleration and deceleration. (ECCS: Electronic Concentrated engine Control System). |e| Nose diving is suppressed by judging the deceleration speed from the change speed in vehicle height when the braking signal is received and switching the damping force to the optimum level. At the same time, front-end shaking is similarly suppressed by detecting stopping from the vehicle speed signal. |h|

n f; F; ij
DEF FR 215
