DEF AN 115
Electronic system that suppresses pitching by increasing the control pressure of the front shock absorbers and springs and decreasing the control pressure of the rear shock absorbers and springs, proportionally to the values returned by the brake sensor, the G- sensors and the acceleration/deceleration sensor. (R)|b|
CONT AN 120
A further advantage of controlled spring rate giving near constant ride frequency is that the relative front-to-rear frequencies can be matched without compromise, improving pitch control and steering characteristics. Generally an additional spring in the form of a gas spring results in worthwhile improvements in control and comfort. |a| Pitch control : nose-diving and shaking during hard braking are suppressed by estimating the deceleration speed from the change in speed vehicle height, i.e. amount of diving. In addition, the increase or decrease in engine torque is judged from the change in the ECCS fuel injection pulse width, and this information is used for pitch control during acceleration and deceleration (ECCS: Electronic Concentrated engine Control System). |b|

DEF FR 215
